Spay/Neuter is the number one defense against feline overpopulation. Unfortunately there are more litters born than there are homes. Overpopulation is the number one contributor to abandoned animals, feral cats, shelter overcrowding, and ultimately euthanasia. Trap Neuter Return
TNR is another line of defense to prevent feline over population. ARC has actively participated in TNR throughout our service area. In fact many of our felines have come from community colonies that were not managed with spay and neuter efforts. The feline abandonment is the main reason these colonies exist.
